DWIH San Francisco Annual Report 2025

2025 was a year of new partnerships, innovative programs, and transatlantic exchange at DWIH San Francisco. As part of the program “Women in Entrepreneurship” organized by DWIH in cooperation with The GUILD, 100 women took part in an online course on female entrepreneurship. 10 of them were invited to a one-week program in the Bay Area to present to investors and startup leaders and deepen their understanding of opportunities in the health and life sciences innovation ecosystem.

Global health was a particular focus across the DWIH network in 2025. In San Francisco, this topic brought together several of the region’s core strengths: a dynamic startup ecosystem in the healthcare sector, renowned research institutions, and a culture of innovation and rapid implementation.
