The German Center for Research and Innovation San Francisco (DWIH San Francisco) seeks a well-organized, proactive, and team-oriented Program Officer to support the new DWIH Innovate initiative. Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), DWIH Innovate strengthens transatlantic innovation networks and supports the internationalization of Germany’s research and startup ecosystem through entrepreneurship programs and innovation-focused exchanges. Working closely with the Director, the Program Officer will coordinate programs, events, communications, and stakeholder engagement activities related to transatlantic research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup collaboration. The role includes organizing workshops, networking events, and mentoring activities, building partnerships across academia, industry, and the startup community, supporting program administration and reporting, and advising German startups and innovation stakeholders engaging with the U.S. innovation ecosystem.
